Brooches

What I enjoy about the brooch is that its birth was in function. It was initially used to hold clothing onto the body. As time passed we found other ways of doing this like buttons and clasps, zippers and ties. The brooch evolved into something that was used purely for adornment. This evolution has been a grande one, with wonderful and specatular variations.
